About the Event
Dr. Beasley will:
- Review next year’s Common Application essay prompts
- Critique strong vs. weak essay samples
- Provide tips and strategies to help students write a more impactful essay
- Help students brainstorm possible topics
- Guide students in creating an outline and structure for their essay
- Oversee students as they write a first draft of the essay during the workshop
- Review essay drafts at the workshop with each student and provide guidance on next steps
- Edit and provide detailed feedback on two drafts of the student's essay after the workshop
Workshops must have 4 students enrolled to be held. Registration is non-refundable unless the workshop is cancelled.
